Good Morning and welcome Spring! Of course it is raining today, and will likely continue on the rest of the week. Ask me why? I will tell you, I washed my car on Saturday and my house windows all 15 of them including the screens on Sunday. Oh well, I had a plan.
Why am I blogging? Well because when I speak no one ever listens so I thought that since you are not hearding my voice you will at least read this.
There is so much to look forward to this spring, lawns getting cleaned up, gardens getting dug and flowers being planted. I am planting raised vegatable beds this year, and wanted to know if anyone has had success? What are your remendations for East Hampton soil? Last year, we had a storm and I lost 7 trees in the back yard, so now where there was moss, there is sun! I want to plant roma, grape and beefsteak tomatoes, pole beans, lettuce, potatoes fingerlings, beets, and lots of herbs for cooking. I would like to keep it very simple for the first year.
How do you rotate your garden all year? Let me know, I need help. I will post my pictures and progress when the frames are complete for the beds. Anyone have any height that they recomend?
